2007 Annual Golf Outing

Thank you to all who attended Mark Miller's annual golf outing for 2007. We have highlighted some of the days most memorable moments with pictures taken by Jason Yang of Digital Studios. We hope everyone had a great time and want to give a special thanks to Rick Klein of Klein Homes for allowing us to play at his amazing golf course.

James W. Rouse Community Service Day

Each year, The Enterprise Foundation, in partnership with Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse, organizes a day of volunteerism and community service throughout Baltimore, MD; Providence, RI; Wilmington, DE; Harrisburg, PA; and Durham, NC. This year, Mark Miller's team at Capital Mortgage Finance Corp., SBER's preferred lender, was one of the proud sponsors of the 6th Annual James W. Rouse Community Service Day. We participated at the Moravia Elementary School project, across the street from Frankford Estates.

Mindful of the legacy of James W. Rouse and his influence in shaping a better world, the partnership leverages financial and in-kind donations and mobilizes volunteers to breathe new life into our project's community.

James W. Rouse Day is about partnership and the power of many with one common goal-benefiting those who live, work and play in our great city, through community outreach projects that include restoration, landscaping and teamwork.

By days end each year, public school libraries are renovated and stocked with new books and computers, new playgrounds are installed, community parks are cleaned and landscaped, community buildings are repaired and spruced up, school grounds and entranceways are painted and tended to and new places to enjoy urban life are created.

In the process, a renewed energy for volunteerism is fostered among The Enterprise Foundation, employees of SBE&R, community groups, neighborhood residents, students, and business partners who participate in the effort.
